A gorgeous cake comprised of king grade peony white tea mu dan wang from 2025. This fresh, unaged bud-heavy harvest provides a brighter, zingier, counterbalance to some of the more leafier and aged teas from this release. Dig in for heavy florals and fruit tones, with a light, buoyant, crisp body / mouthfeel.
These bud and leaf sets come from an ecological shengtai garden around 30 years old, and will be managed in the coming years to continue grow into a more classic overgrown thicket garden, not receiving the typical heavy pruning. Produced in 2025, this is a fresher, buoyant expression of white peony.
